After my studies at The William Esper Studio in New York, I began working with a group of New York actor/writer/improvisors who called themselves “AfterWords.” The members had come together on Martha’s Vineyard, performing at both the West Tisbury Agricultural Hall and at The Vineyard Playhouse in Vineyard Haven. When we met, a group of them had relocated to New York City. One of the members, Lisa Elliott, was a classmate of mine at Esper, and she asked me to audition for the company’s upcoming NY debut at the Henry Street Settlement. I met the other company members at Lisa’s fifth floor walk-up apartment on Perry Street for my audition. Or wait – maybe it was at Hunter College. I don’t recall. Either way, I was in and I was hooked. (to be continued)
This is the trailer for COMMON KNOWLEDGE, the two man show created by Doug Budin and me. We traveled around the country performing it to great reviews.
PS: I have no idea why it’s so strangely sized. I’m working on fixing it.
